TURN 2 RC — GROWING, LEARNING & BUILDING WHAT'S NEXT
2026 has been an incredible year of growth for Turn 2 RC.
We've experienced more demand, more custom projects, new products and more opportunities than at any other time in our history. We're extremely grateful for every customer, race team and dealer who has trusted us and helped Turn 2 continue to grow.
But we also want to share a little bit about what's happening behind the scenes at Turn 2.
Something many people may not realize is that despite everything you see from us, Turn 2 is still primarily a one-man operation.
From answering messages and preparing quotes, to artwork and customer proofs, ordering materials, building racing communication systems, cutting fabric, sewing, final assembly, quality control, packing and shipping — the majority of it currently passes through one set of hands.
We're proud of what we've been able to build that way.
But the growth we've experienced in 2026 has also made something very clear:
The next version of Turn 2 can't operate exactly like the previous one did.
We'll also be the first to acknowledge that we've had some misses along the way this year.
There have been orders that took longer than we wanted. There have been times when communication wasn't as quick as it should have been. And there have simply been days when the amount of work coming into Turn 2 exceeded what one person could reasonably get through.
We own those misses.
But we're not interested in making excuses for them.
We're interested in fixing what caused them.
And that's exactly what we've been working on.
Throughout 2026, we've continued investing in Turn 2 with additional industrial sewing equipment, improved material storage and shop organization, better production flow, improved inventory management, formal manufacturing procedures and quality-control standards.
We're beginning to document our products from start to finish so that the knowledge of how we build something isn't simply stored in one person's head.
We're also beginning to build inventory of select finished products so that everything doesn't necessarily have to be manufactured after an order is placed.
In other words, we're turning the lessons from our growing pains into better processes.
And now we're preparing for the next step.
Our future plans include finding a larger facility that will give Turn 2 room for dedicated production and sewing areas, organized material storage, final QC and shipping, a secure Racing Communications department, additional inventory space and eventually a customer showroom.
We're also preparing to do something that's probably overdue:
Grow the Turn 2 team.
Our plans include potentially adding a couple of part-time employees to assist with production, sewing, order preparation, packaging and other areas of the business.
Adding people isn't about removing the personal touch from Turn 2.
It's about protecting it.
By training additional hands to handle repeatable production processes, it allows Brian to spend more time on customer communication, artwork and approvals, custom projects, product development, quality control and actually running the business.
We're not interested in simply producing more.
We want to produce better, communicate better and serve our customers better while continuing to grow.
The challenges of 2026 have taught us a lot. They've exposed areas where we needed to improve, but they've also helped show us exactly what Turn 2 needs to become next.
So we're taking those lessons and putting them to work.
Better processes.
Better organization.
Better inventory.
More production capacity.
More help.
And eventually, more room to grow.
One thing won't change.
We want Turn 2 to remain the company where you can talk to a real person, have something custom built for your race team, receive a product we're proud to put our name on, and know that your business genuinely matters to us.
We're not trying to become the biggest company in racing equipment.
We're working to become a better Turn 2.
To everyone who has ordered from us, recommended us, shared our work, supported us and sometimes been patient with us during this year of growth — thank you.
We're proud of how far Turn 2 has come.
But we're even more excited about where we're going.
The next chapter of Turn 2 is already being built.
