It is absolutely stunning out, and we just heard that a humpback whale has been spotted near the Town Wharf!

Come on down to visit our quaint downtown: Grab a bite at one of our delicious local eateries Bricks-N-Sticks, Hey Sailor or Scullery Made , Explore history at the Penobscot Marine Museum, Do a little shopping at our unique local shops Splendiferous Sweet Shoppe, The Aquarian Gift Shop/Pay it Forward for Kids Charity Program, or H & H Mercantile and finish it off with a brew at Maineport Brewing!

Hey local friends! We need your thoughts on a quick town idea..
​A fellow town resident has a really creative vision to turn the side street next to our shop (Leach Street) into a lovely little park area with seating and tables—and honestly, we are 100% on board with making our town more vibrant and welcoming!
​Here’s the catch: she feels that our flower-filled plant racks along the street don’t fit her vision for the space. We do have full approval from town code enforcement to have them set up there, and we always aim to add a pop of life and color to the block.
​So we wanted to open it up to you, our community: What do you think of our plants along Leach Street? Do they add to the cozy street charm, or do you think they look out of place?
