*update: Terrace you are amazing and 10 spots sold out in a few hours. So we are opening a second time slot on the same day! With even 5 participants we will hit our fundraising goal to feed one child, if we sell out again we can donate more than our goal!!! Starfish is something near and dear to me as a teacher and the reason I became a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Terrace-Skeena Valley. I’m super excited to be offering this workshop with the support and donation of materials from Clay Artists of Terrace Society -CATS to support this amazing program that helps provide weekend meals for food insecure children in our community. Please consider this fun opportunity to make something and help or if you have the means consider donating to the Starfish program directly. Donations are accepted by Coast Mountain School District and any donations above $100 can revive a tax receipt. Let’s help feed kids in our community ❤️
The Terrace Starfish Pack program, run by Rotary Terrace Skeena Valley, provides weekend meals for school aged children in our community facing food insecurity. It costs $750 a year to help a student with weekend meals. The program is always collecting funds and the Clay Artists of Terrace Society has a goal to raise $750 through two fundraising workshops to help a family in need.
