And the less happy post.

I guess today is the day that I make an announcement I’ve been dreading…

I underestimated how hard it would be to take a growing business and move it halfway across the country. The time and energy it needs to rebuild here in another market are both things I’m too short on these days.

I love you so much, and I’m so grateful for how you supported me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I have taken a work from home job that is already treating me well (haven’t felt this appreciated working for someone else’s company in a LONG time!) and I will get to have my evenings and weekends back. With three kids graduating in the next three years, I’m glad to be able to refocus on them.

Branch and Vine was originally to help our oldest son with a disability learn some job skills. It has done that, and next summer he will get to go out into the world with a vocational coach and find out what he wants in life. Thank you for supporting this teaching tool for him.

Me: I don’t like Fiddle Leaf Figs. They’re too finicky.

Loading up for tonight! I’ll have plants ranging from $3 (succulents) to $35 (silver sword) tonight, including some Hoyas, Pothos, Philodendron, Peperomia… come see what I have! (Weird little cat not for sale.)

5-8 (or until I sell out) in the Miller’s Theater parking lot with the food trucks!

I finally (FINALLY) got the rest of the Succulent Club subscription boxes out for this quarter. There is a bonus tablet of Instant Plant Food in there to thank you for your patience!

This move has been no joke, and there has been no shortage of hiccups, but as of this week I think we are finally starting to feel settled.
