Hi! Im still here! Look what came in the mail! That Crafty Little Fox 😍 I’m still reminiscing on what an incredible experience I had with the coolest group of crafty individuals that I’m hoping become lifelong friends. Been busy catching up on orders (not as quickly as I hoped), balancing back to school/sports/fall birthdays, keeping my nervous system and lupus in check. Attempting self care (it’s nice but weird) and prepping for fall/winter markets and advent season. 💿

How has your September been so far? Im testing the and so excited for everyone else to get their hands on this pattern for the little ones in your life.

Care that travels beyond the bus route!

Meet the unofficial “Crochet Club” at ESD Transportation. Throughout last school year, this generous group of bus drivers used their downtime to crochet 31 lap-sized blankets, known as “lapghans,” for cancer patients to use during treatment.

Over the summer, they donated the handmade blankets to the Puyallup Cancer Center, sharing warmth and comfort with patients beyond the community they serve each day.

Day 5: 🏔️
Consider this page just cruise content now. I’m so sad it had to end. I’m sprinkling the last few days in while I’m beading berries and sculpting Jimothys to send your way. Skagway has my heart.

Skagway feels a lot like my hometown. 🌲 I’m not really into touristy things. I grew up in a town so small in the mountains that we didn’t have phones, just CB’s and lived amongst veteran’s fleeing society, nature enthusiasts, nomads and loggers. Shantel Adams and I felt over stimulated from all the touristy shops after taking the train on the white pass/yukon railway. We found the museum and old homes and made stamp prints from an eraser. I forgot my camera on my trip and I ended up liking this better. We stopped at the most welcoming store Boreal Artworks and felt like I’ve known them my whole life. We got a drink for at the Happy Endings Saloon and found a small artist Wildish Designs before heading back to the ship. So many memories made. My cup is full.
