My fav boys, till this day. What’s your favourite unit? I miss the old 40k vehicle rules. Haven’t played for ages. But I was chatting with a friend, and we agreed we needed to dust off and play again. What edition should we play and why?
From memory 4th is just 3rd but more refined yeah? Has the most fun chaos codex!

Are you guys keen for the new ? Here are some of my girlfriends Co**se Grinder Cult, and my guys. I ran venators for a few games. But to be honest, I thought the rules were a bit janky and unintuitive. Infinity is still my main game so I thought I'd just play that instead haha. But I would love to revisit necromunda, because the setting and terrain is super fun, and the campaign based rules are really cool.
What's the best necromunda release in your opinion? This is the terrain I painted in about half an hour for that tutorial reel!
What do you you think? One guy on youtube said "Looks Horrible" lmao.

But the point of the tutorial is to be as easy and fast as possible. I think the results are great for time invested!

If you’re at be sure to check out Cardboard Dynamo ! You can grab the terrain and demo grave trigger with the creator, Alex!

First Picture is from Cardboard Dynamos stand at Adepticon.

If you’re in Australia - you can grab the terrain from yours truly!
It’s massive and imposing in your tabletop and it’s great for games like too. And there’s a new edition of Necromunda coming out which I wouldn’t mind trying out. I played a bit of the last edition but it felt a bit janky to me, coming from infinity. What do you guys think? Excited for it? Because I love the terrain and setting.

Necromunda has an update, and the fact that we continually see Warhammer 40k players play on unpainted terrain, I thought I’d share with you guys the quickest, easiest - and most importantly, low effort to high reward ratio painting method for terrain. After all spend months on your army only to ruin your experience with boring unpainted terrain?

Look, each to their own but I can’t personally understand why competitive, and even casual 40k players will spend countless hours painting miniatures so they have a force they can be proud of. It also makes the whole experience more enjoyable for their opponent.

But then they play with unpainted terrain? Immersion ruined!

You’ll need the following (available from art and hardware stores)

Black, grey, and white rattle can primers. A flat finish is preferable.
Satin varnish
Brown and Payenes Grey oil paints
Odourless solvent (You can also use artists white spirit or artists mineral turps - but odourless is best.

Prime the terrain black. Then let it dry, and lightly spray it grey. Finally with the white, give it an ultra light dusting, from much further away. About 80 cm/ 30 inches away. If you’re painting MDF it dries quickly. We should technically let it dry for longer but the people I want watching this are either time poor or don’t care too much. After all, you’ve been playing on unpainted terrain. Let’s just get it done!

Finally, when it’s touch dry hit it with a satin varnish. THis helps the oil weathering flow much better.
Once dry, you can use your prepared oil wash to give it a real quick weathering pass.

If you don’t have one, just mix 1/3rd paynes grey, 1/3rd van dyks brown, and 1/3rd burnt or raw umber. Mix it with the solvent and now we drip or use the brush to give the terrain a liberal wash.

Because this is a terrain speed painting tutorial I’m not going to go into doing heaps of tiny grime streaks. We can get a similar effect by placing more of the wash at the top of the walls to create the grime streaks. Because we varnished the terrain capillary action makes these streaks flow well, and create cool organic pooling effects.
