This came from a junk jewelry lot.
I suspected this was sterling silver at first glance. It’s definitely not everyone’s idea of a glamorous piece, but after handling jewelry for so long, I’ve gotten pretty good at recognizing sterling just by looking at it. Lol! 😄
So I went ahead and tested it carefully just to confirm my suspicion—and yes, it is sterling silver! I knew there was something about it that caught my eye. 😄
And this is a BIG and HEAVY piece too!

The downside of buying from a webcast auction when the item isn’t described in detail is this! 😂

From the photo, I honestly thought it was a small cross pendant. It arrived today and—surprise—it’s HUGE! 🤣 Turns out it’s actually a wall plaque!

Definitely not what I was expecting! 😂🤣🤣🤣
