Special Thanks go out again to Cascadia Elementary! Ms Dustin and Ms Knighton are great educators and we really appreciate their commitment to teaching our children in music. We have also seen students from Catherine Blaine, Greenlake Elementary, Daniel Bagley, Salmon Bay and even a student up in Shoreline that needed a Mellophone, Yes we have Mellophones! We love seeing young musicians in our shop who are excited about making music!

Yesterday was a Festival of Cascadia students at Leading Tone. It was awesome to meet so many new musicians!!! We look forward to serving you as your education in music progresses.

I am thinking about setting up a private FB Group for music educators in the Puget Sound as a resource and repository for all Music Teachers to share what works for them, what does not work, and post needs that others may be able to fulfill. If it gets enough traction I will turn it into a web forum. I would love to hear comments, criticism, and questions on the subject.

I met with a lot of music teachers last week to find out what they needed in their music rooms. I was surprised to hear "Batteries", The Snark Tuner that many instructors recommend, cost over $4.00 at your local retail store and the Tuner is less than $20.00 to buy. We buy Batteries in bulk for cheap and give them out for FREE to our customers. If you are a teacher that needs batteries for your students just let us know and we will drop some off for you!
