Hello friends,

I’m excited to be at the Bellevue Arts Museum Arts Fair this weekend! You can find me in Booth H7, located in the middle of the parking garage. I will even have a few pairs of fancy schmancy sunglasses for your most whimsical self ;)

Show Hours:
• Friday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

This is my last scheduled show of the summer, so I’d love to see you if you’re able to stop by!

If you have a piece of BeMused jewelry that’s been sitting in a drawer because it needs a little TLC, bring it with you! During slower moments at the show, I’m often able to make simple repairs while you enjoy browsing the fair. If you stop by early, I can usually let you know whether it’s something I can fix that day or if it will need more extensive tending later. Many simple repairs are complimentary, while more involved work may have a service charge.

Looking ahead, my next scheduled show is Best of the Northwest at Magnuson Park Hangar 30 over Veterans Day weekend. I’m also hoping to be back at the Phinney Winter Festival & Crafts Fair the first weekend of December.

I hope to see you this weekend!

Warmly,

Debbie

June Happenings

Hello friends,

This Father’s Day weekend, I’ll be exhibiting at the Edmonds Arts Festival, and I’d love to see you there!

📍 Booth 236 (across from the food trucks)
📍 Francis Anderson Center Field, Edmonds
June 19–21, 2026
Friday & Saturday 10–7 | Sunday 10–5

As I’ve been preparing for the show, I’ve found myself feeling a little nostalgic. Many years ago, the Edmonds Farmers Market was one of the first places I regularly sold my jewelry. Back then, my work focused on vintage and repurposed pieces—long before I discovered enameling and began creating the colorful torch-fired designs many of you know today.

Those early market days helped me find my footing as an artist and small business owner, so returning to Edmonds always feels a bit like coming home. It also makes me wonder how many of you might still have one of those early pieces tucked away in a jewelry box somewhere! -I'd love to see a photo, just hit reply to this email.

I’ll have a fresh selection of my torch-fired enamel jewelry, including colorful floral pieces, earrings, necklaces, and some newer designs I’ve been working on this year.

Since it’s Father’s Day weekend, I also want to give a special thank you to my husband, who has spent years helping me load, unload, set up booths, tear everything down, and cheer me on through all the ups and downs of running a creative business. I couldn’t do it without him.

Did you know?

Over the past year and a half, I’ve also been pursuing another longtime interest: real estate investing. I’m currently looking for fixer-uppers and properties with renovation or development potential in the Seattle area. If you or someone you know is thinking about selling in the coming months—or just wants to explore options—I’d be happy to chat and see if I might be able to help.

If you’re attending the festival, please stop by and say hello. I always love seeing familiar faces and hearing what you’ve been up to.

And if you can’t make Edmonds, I’ll also be exhibiting at the West Seattle Street Fair mid July and Bellevue Arts Museum Arts Fair in late July. More details to come!

Hope to see you this weekend.

Warmly,

Debbie Shaner

You are invited!

Hi friends,

Quick reminder that my open studio is this Friday, May 9 from 2–5 PM here in Seattle, and I would love to see you.

I’ll have a mix of one-of-a-kind enamel jewelry available, including many of the new botanical and colorful pieces that recently went into the Etsy shop — plus some things that haven’t been listed online yet.

This is definitely the more fun and personal side of what I do. You’ll get to see the converted garage studio, try things on in person, and dig through a much larger selection than what makes it onto the internet.

356 N 78th St
Seattle, WA 98103

(Access the alley behind the house to find the studio.)

I’m also considering putting out a few prototype embellished sunglasses I’ve been developing behind the scenes this past year. They’re still in the “experimental creature” stage, but if you’re curious, this may be one of the first chances to see them in person.

If you think you might stop by, hit reply and let me know — and tell me what kinds of pieces you’d most want me to have out:
smaller everyday earrings?
statement necklaces?
flowers/botanicals?
sunglasses?
giftable Mother’s Day pieces?
odd little art experiments?

That actually helps me decide what to focus on pulling together.

Summer shows currently on the calendar:

• Edmonds Arts Festival — June 19–21
• West Seattle Summer Fest — July 10–12
• Bellevue Arts Museum Arts Fair — July 24–26

I’ll share booth locations and details as we get closer.

Thanks again for supporting handmade work and this strange little creative life of mine.

Warmly,
Debbie

So honored to have my work included once again in the Seattle Art Museum gift shop — this time as part of the Farm to Table exhibition!

I dropped off some of my enameled jewelry and a few pairs of embellished sunglasses with custom laser-etched bamboo cases.

If you’re visiting the exhibition, you’ll find my pieces tucked in the back — don’t miss them! Watch to the end and wave hello to the lovely staff 😊

If you’re looking for my work at the Seattle Art Museum - it’s currently in the paid exhibition portion, not the gift shop. BUT, if you ask REAL NICE to see the rest of my work they will pull out what they have in the back for you to see 😊 It might take a few days for them to process the new work.
I also plan on delivering some SUNGLASSES 😎 to them in early December!
