The latest from Barbara Kingsolver is IN at the Annex, on sale starting 10/6!

From the author who brought us "Demon Copperhead," comes the story of a brief, passionate, life-changing love affair, wrapped up in what might be the greatest romance of all: our eternal human longing for art and beauty.

"A brilliantly prismatic story. . . . Kingsolver is one of the finest living writers, and her latest will join Demon Copperhead and The Poisonwood Bible as another modern classic." - Library Journal

Reserve a copy today by calling 206-569-8312, or visit the Annex in Wallingford on Thursday, 10/8! The Annex is open Thursday-Monday, 11-7pm!

The final desperate mote of electronic light left on this scattered wailing earth will in the rubble and brimstone be playing an "InstaGram Reel" with a man being rolled down a steep hill in a trash can. The man will be gone. The trash service will have been discontinued. His digital imprint will remain until even that pitiful remembrance of the time before is, at last, snubbed out by the gnaw of a hungry dog who thought the iPhone was a brick of missile-charred steak.

Buuuuuut Magus Books is happy to be your bulk entertainment supplier for the end-times :) Come buy some books from us ok!!!

RAAAAAH👹👹👹👹👹HORROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We just got a large swath of new horror, and I have no reason to expect there may not be more on the way. They are weird and strange horrors of ancient times, ones that have been very rare to see here, and ones that will probably go quickly as the ravenous horror fans come to eat up our current variety of style. We have CLIVE BARKERS, we have JOE LANSDALES, we got PLAYING CARDS that have CREEPIES ON THEM... one of my favorites is our "INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS" FOTONOVEL... which is basically all of the scenes from the movie transferred into pictures in the book, including all dialogue and story beats minus, obviously, the sound cues, as it's a book. That one's not new, but no one's bought it which doesn't make much sense to me. PLUS MUCH MORE :) Come and ask for any of these titles here at Magus Books 🧙‍♂️👻⚰
