Needles and hooks are offered in several materials. We offer group and private classes, a wide range of books and magazines, as well as supplies for spinning and needlepoint.

Come visit Seattleā€™s older yarn shop and meet with the incredibly talented and local dyer !

Debbie will be in the shop during the Flock weekend (7/31-8/2) to welcome new fiber friends to Seattle and into Acorn Street Shop. If you are going to visit Acorn, itā€™s got to be during one of EPIC pop-ups.

Here at Acorn we LOVE yarn and sharing our passion with others. We have a larger variety of yarn and are shelves are full of trusty staple yarns as well as some incredible local fibers. Some of those incredible local folks are:

We are so excited to welcome .makes.things to Acorn Street Shop for a pop-up on July 11th and 12th! Oh my goodness these pieces are stunning. šŸ˜

Here is a little about me from Ang:

Hello! Iā€™m Angela of Ang Makes Things. I call Seattle home, and as a typical PNW resident, I love to hike with my cat, forage for mushrooms, paddle board, and if you couldnā€™t already tell, I love to make things :)

I learned how to knit when I was a child, but didnā€™t pick it back up until around 2019 when I was badly burnt out from my biotech job and desperate for a hobby to survive the dreary winters of Seattle.

And then the pandemic hit, and I started having a LOT more time at home to cultivate my intensifying obsession with knitting, crocheting, and fiber arts in general! And as a serial hobbyist...I ended up exploring many other activities, including bullet journaling, plant care, and most recently, ceramics!

And here I am, a little more than a year after taking my first wheel throwing class, trying to share my art with you all. Thanks for joining me on this journey, and I canā€™t wait to see where this craft takes me!
