We have fresh, local Padrón peppers in stock. $7.00 for the half pound bag. Originally from h the town of Padrón in northwestern Spain, these peppers typically are mild, with about 1 in 10 being surprisingly spicy. This batch runs a bit hotter than the norm.
Delicious as a tapa: quickly sauté in a generous amount of olive oil and sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
