Unfortunately, our shop was broken into this morning - second time in two months. Our register and iPad were stolen and the front door was smashed, but thankfully everyone is safe. Thanks to our neighbors at Taylor Shellfish and SPD for keeping an eye on the shop before we arrived.

Please bear with us while we get everything back in order. Our door will likely be secured with plywood for a week or two while we wait for replacement glass, and it may be a little quieter to start the day as we repair / replace the audio equipment.

We’re still here and open as usual today. Thanks for your patience and support 😅 🙏

ANTIPODE is the kind of place that reminds us what an art gallery can be.

Founded by Saïna Hesh and Amir Amini after leaving Tehran and finding their way to Seattle, ANTiPODE creates space for immigrant artists to be encountered in the fullness and complexity of their work. Through exhibitions, performances, conversations, and gatherings, they are building what they call an “art home.” A space jointly shared with Seattle Jazz Fellowship.

We spent an afternoon with Saina and Amir talking about the cities we carry with us, their friendship behind the gallery, and the belief that art can build bridges between people and places.

On October 1, ANTiPODE presents ‘Seeker’, a solo exhibition by founder Saïna Hesh, where still life moves through drawing, collage, fabric, garment, body, and dance.

Read our conversation at the link in bio and we hope to see you at ANTiPODE for First Thursday.

Through the end of the month, Seattle customers can enjoy complimentary shipping to Glasswing for in-store pickup, plus 10% off a first furniture purchase.

If you’re considering a piece or have questions about finishes, availability, or custom orders, we’d be happy to help.

Thanks again to our partners Tara Almassi, FRAMA, Natasha Alphonse Ceramics, aleph geddis, ArkJournal, , Azmi Haroun, Bobby G, .feast, and and everyone who helped bring the weekend together.
