Apricot Whirl daffodils in the early evening light. I much prefer daffodils to tulips at my house as the squirrels šŸæļø leave the daffs alone. Whereas with tulips, I feel like Iā€™m a waitress for the squirrels, and they skip paying the tab. Also, daffodils popping back up each spring is always such a cheerful sight. What are some colorful daffodils youā€™ve grown that I should consider next year? šŸŒ¼

Dahlia folks! As a tiny thank you some boxes of sunflower seeds are in a random selection of dahlia orders. I call it my Solstice Sunflower mix. If you plant this week, they will bloom by the June Solstice! It is a mix of single stem sunflowers with light, sunny colors like these pictured. Fun fact about single stem sunflowers: if you plant them about 6 inches apart they will stay smaller blooms, if you give them 12 or more inches they will be big. The mix includes Vincent Fresh Light Eye, Pro Cut White Lite, and a few others. Thank you!

Beautiful day in the and at Forest Glade Flower Farm for w**ding and spotting wildlife, like this fern bunny. No, wait thatā€™s Teddy our Havanese. He loves romping in the forest but we canā€™t let him go too deep because of the bobcats and bears.

Just did a tiny restock on the Blush & Bold Flowers site. The main restock will be in mid-March after I start filling existing orders. So, please look here for that update. And yes, I will still have the 15 minute shopping cart holds. Reminder, if there is a variety you are interested in that is sold out, be sure to click on the Notify Me button so you can get an email if I do restock. A few varieties didn't need a restock because I have so many (some dahlias multiply like bunnies). Like Dragonberry (in photo). Such a vigorous grower! The colors bring a bit of the tropical vibe to our ferny, mossy PNW forest.

White dahlias are heavenly, but overlooked sometimes. Just a handful class up anything from a messy kitchen or a wedding. Plus they alway match! Right now our tuber sale still has some gems like Andrea Lawson, Orsett Beauty, and Peace Pact (photo order). But I also highly recommend Blizzard, especially low maintenance and clean. Also for the waterlily fans, I also grow white waterlily White Onesta. And Center Court and Marshmallow (so soft). Take a look via the link.

Dahlia tuber update. Sale started Saturday and I still have 50 varieties left, including this beauty, Penhill Dark Monarch. As varieties sell out, I am temporarily removing them from view. In a couple weeks Iā€™ll bring them all back so you can click on the ā€œNotify me if back in stockā€ because I always have a few more of some varieties, but I like to make sure all of the orders are sorted first. Thanks everyone!
