Spencer Went to Thailand!

If you happened to come into the shop recently and Spencer was gone, it's because I was skipping work, and visiting Thailand. What a whirlwind of a trip. I fed elephants, got blessed by a monk, was stuck from flooding, ate too much fried rice, got Scuba Dive certified, road mopeds, and so much more. It was an excellent trip and I was lucky to get to travel with my friend of 30+ years while over there. I am glad to be back and thankful for our cooler weather, less humidity, our lack of monsoon rain, our modern plumbing, and for being able to come home to a thriving business due to my incredible employees Rob, Daryn, Meggie, Nathan, and Gavin. Seriously, these 5 employees are superheroes and this was the first time I've come back from vacation and had almost no backlog of stuff waiting for me! Anyway, come say hi if you've missed me, also come wish me happy birthday in 2ish weeks, or come celebrate T&T's 10 year anniversary and my birthday all on the 29th and 30th. PLEASE invite your friends and come say hello whether you've been in once or a million times! -Spencer

Beers & Beats Summer Music Series Saturday, August 15th, 2026

Our Beers & Beats Summer Music Series continues on Saturday, August 15th, 2026 at Hellbent Brewing! We are wrapping up the summer with some fantastic events, and we want you to be a part of it! Come enjoy free admission, live bands, DJs, beer, and food trucks!!! If you missed out on the last show it was phenomenal, amazing bands, and the vibe was electric with the joint Lake City Summer Festival and Parade happening at the same time!

Lake City Art Walk Third Thursdays August 20th

Come support local artists and vendors at the Lake City Art Walk & Vendor Market, happening every third Thursday of the month! The next one is on August 20th from 5pm-8pm! We have been ramping these up with more artists, musicians, food trucks, local makers etc. by collaborating with Lake City Business Alliance and Lake City Community Council and Lake City Farmers Market! A great night to come hang with our community!

Turntables & Trails 10th Anniversary Celebration on August 29th & 30th!!!

We are having our 10th anniversary celebration on August 29th & 30th!!! This is a block party for our supporters - YOU! There will be discounts, giveaways, and live music. We have 8 bands lined up to play in our parking lot from 1-5pm both days, and will be celebrating continually! Mark your calendar!

The next Beers & Beats Summer Music Series at Hellbent Brewing is happening on Saturday, August 1st, 2026! It is the 10th Annual Summer Stag Party! It features free admission, live bands, DJs, beer, and food trucks, all at a fantastic brewery! Come check it out!

Come to Lake City on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 for the Lake City Summer Festival and Parade! There will be craft vendors, three parades from 6pm-9:30pm, and two music stages! Did we mention that attendance is FREE??? This festival includes (but is not limited to): a grand parade, a dog parade, a kids' parade, a car chow, art & craft vendors, live art, a family fun zone, multi-cultural food trucks, and community outreach! It is happening on NE 125th St between 26th Ave NE and Lake City Way NE. The festival will be happening from 10:30am to twilight. See you there!

What copy is this?
Sealed 1978 The Velvet Underground & Nico with numbers V6-5008 and 0701 on the cover also says Stereo and Manufactured and Marketed by Polygram Records. From my research this may be a Mono/Mono album that was misprinted, or a Stereo/Mono album also misprinted.

Any help? Help us identify it, make us an offer?

What To Do After The USA Loses The World Cup...

It has been a crazy couple of weeks with the World Cup in Seattle, and now that the USA is out (wah wah, what a disappointing ending!) we need to find something to do with our time. Well, we have a TON of upcoming events that we can focus on in Lake City, and you should too!

We Sponsored the VIP Lounge at The Mountaineering Club on the 4th of July!

Thank you to The Mountaineering Club for asking us to sponsor their VIP lounge on the 4th of July! I am a big fan of The Mountaineering Club, a rooftop bar located at The Graduate Hotel in University District, which has delicious cocktails as well as amazing views of South Lake Union! Their aesthetic combines vintage mountaineering gear, a modern cocktail bar, and an art deco hotel, & I loved spending the holiday there! It was an incredible event, they were dynamite hosts, and we hope everyone had a safe & enjoyable 4th of July! Here are some pictures of the event! -Nathan

Now that the weather has improved, more vendors will be setting up outside! Come be a part of our community!
