Everett, your favorite mobile (and soon to be brick-and-mortar) bookstore is coming back to town this weekend!
Come join us on Friday, September 11 between 5-9pm at Scuttlebutt Brewing Taproom (on Cedar St, not the waterfront!) for our monthly book swap, mobile bookstore pop-up, flash tattoos, and brews!
This month, we’ll have the following artists join us:
• Violet Hall | Traveling Tattooer & Fine Artist
• Ornamental Hand Poked Tattoos in Seattle, WA from Prince Johnny Tattoo Studio
Flash sheets will be posted as we get closer to the event date (usually a couple of days in advance!)
Plus, join us at 6:30 for a discussion of Honey by Imani Thompson led by our wonderful Yoly! You still have a couple of weeks to read it if you haven’t already, so move that up your TBR! This will also be the last of our SnoCo book club meetups for now, so if you want to just come hang out even if you haven’t read the book, you’re more than welcome!
We’ll also have our book swap table set up as always! Here’s how it works:
📚 Bring 1-3 gently used books to exchange (please ONLY bring books you’d be excited to pick up yourself! This is not your opportunity to clean out dirty/waterlogged/otherwise unwanted books, as it ruins the fun for everyone)
📚When you arrive, drop them off at the table inside the brewery which will have signage marking it!
📚 Keep an eye on the table throughout the night and pick up as many as you brought to keep it fair for everyone 😊
And finally, our mobile bookstore will be set up right outside the brewery for all your book shopping needs and desires! Grab a brew and come pursue our shelves for something new to add to your collection!
