Missing Chicago and having post vacation depression 😭 Travelling to Philly for the Philly card show next month! Excited to make more content, make sure to sub to my YouTube if you’re digging the content!

Getting ready for the card show like… 😅

Cards packed? Maybe.
Inventory organized? Questionable.
Know where anything is? Absolutely not.
Ready to say “HI!” approximately 847 times? YES. 😂

If you see me at the show, come say hi! I’ll probably be somewhere surrounded by cards, trying to remember what I was doing 30 seconds ago. 😂🔱

Already miss Chicago. ❤️ 10/10 recommend everyone experience The National at least once in their life.

From the people, the food, the experiences, the deals, and of course the cards, The National was everything I hoped it would be. Getting to travel, buy inventory, meet other collectors, and create content around something I genuinely love is one of the best parts of building PNW Trading Card Co. I’m already counting down until I get to do it all again next year.

But Philly in September is next! I get to see my best friend for the first time in 2 years, and I’ll be introducing her and her husband to the world of cards. 😂 I’m hoping to keep leveling up the content, make some incredible memories, and bring you guys along for the ride.

I think that might be my favorite thing about this hobby and about creating content now. It gives me a reason to document these moments. Someday I want to look back when I’m 80 and remember the places I traveled, the cards I found, the people I met, and all the memories I made along the way.

Lately I’ve been channeling a little of my grandfather’s energy. He used to document EVERYTHING on an old video recorder, and I have stacks of VHS tapes filled with the moments he captured. I haven’t watched them since he passed. The grief is still heavy.

I didn’t grow up with my parents, so my grandparents were my parents. I lost my grandmother a couple years ago after moving back home from Washington, and there are so many moments now that I wish I could share with the people I loved and lost.

It’s made me realize how important it is to capture the little moments. The trips. The laughs. The random adventures. The people standing next to you.

Because one day, those memories might be all you have left.

So hug the people you love. Take the picture. Record the video. Document the memories.

I’d give anything for just one more conversation with them.

Here’s to making a whole lot more memories along the way. ❤️

Procrastination and a busy schedule has left me with 24hrs to prepare for the Emerald City Card Show tomorrow in Everett! Going to be a late night and an early morning catching the ferry tomorrow but it’s worth it! Excited to be back from my month long break from vending, can’t wait to bring all the new pokemon and sports inventory I’ve been collecting the last month! Stop by and say hi, can’t wait to see everyone! 💙💚

Fun fact: It takes a lot for me to get in front of a camera. Most of the time I feel awkward and uncomfortable, but I’m doing it anyway.

Thankfully I have my daughter, aka my editor and social media manager, hyping me up, keeping me focused, and reminding me to just be myself. I can’t wait to see where our content is a year from now because we’re learning and improving with every video.

Growth is uncomfortable. That’s kind of the whole point. Every time I push through those awkward moments, I know I’m getting a little better.

Huge shoutout to Emma 🦦 for believing in me and always coming up with fun ideas that actually fit my personality. I couldn’t do this without you.

At the end of the day, if I can get someone to crack a smile or laugh for a few seconds, it’s worth it. Life can be heavy. As someone who’s neurodivergent and lives with CPTSD, depression and anxiety are things I know all too well. Humor has helped me through some of my darkest days.

There’s an old saying: if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry. Me? I do both. 😂 Crying is healing too, no shame in the tears.

Thanks for being here and growing with me. ❤️
