This year during Banned Books Week (Oct. 5th-11th) we are working with Books To Prisoners Seattle to help get books to prisoners. Buy a book from our wish-list and each purchase a generous donor will match your purchase.

Books to Prisoners is a Seattle-based nonprofit that has been sending free books to individuals in prison for over 50 years. They do this because they believe that reading is an essential element of education, self-empowerment, and in breaking the cycle of recidivism.

Support this effort by buying a book for Books to Prisoners that will foster a love of reading, or illuminate a new path forward, or supply tools for post-prison success.

This is a special limited edition of 175 numbered copies of Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run, signed by Paul McCartney, and packaged in a deluxe case made of cloth with screen-printing, featuring full-color album artwork for the American market. The edition includes a 24-page, bound-in, full-color booklet of artwork featuring the covers (front and back) of the Wings-era albums and singles. It also includes an exclusive vinyl — a single volume of Wing’s Greatest Hits — which has been specially manufactured in Germany with a color and label unique to this edition. Complementing the production are a special pin and a blue and white embroidered souvenir patch.

HOW TO BUY
Third Place Books will have ONE COPY of this exclusive signed edition. Third Place Books will hold a drawing to determine which lucky customer gets the opportunity to buy this amazing book.
