Unfortunately the name game has been the biggest Con in the music industry in the last 40 years. Everyone goes crazy when they hear a name like Taylor. Do you realize that they're a Taylor guitar is being made in Mexico, China. Rick Beato recently did a YouTube video where he talked about how poor the quality most fender guitars are now, and that includes American made. This is nothing new, 20 25 years ago I was saying you have to play 10 Gibson Les Paul's before you find a good one. This is the unfortunate truth, that there's plenty of junk hanging on the walls of places like guitar center. Most people believe you get what you pay for, but honestly you don't. You can get thousands of dollars invested and still end up with junk. If you're going to purchase a guitar anywhere, please find someone that really knows what they're talking about, and bring them with you.
It is definitely a buyer beware market.
