I always talk about how crazy and special it is when people travel 6 or 7 hours to come buy a trailer from me, but honestly, I think it’s just as special—maybe even a little more—when someone who lives just 30–45 minutes down the road chooses to support us.

They told me the trip was an absolute no-brainer because comparable new trailers in Illinois are selling for nearly double the price. When they arrived and saw the trailer in person, they said it was everything they wanted and then some! They were impressed with the build, quality, and overall value, which means the world after such a long drive.

We also got to hang out and chat, and their dog even came along for the adventure—so of course, he got a treat! 🐶

There’s something about seeing the new sign finally up that makes this place feel a little more complete.

It’s honestly crazy to look back and realize that in such a short amount of time, we’ve managed to sell almost 200 trailers. That might not sound like a huge number to some people, but for two people with a dream, it’s a massive step in the right direction toward building something truly amazing.

Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and from all over the place. I’ve had customers make the trip from Rockford, Iowa — nearly 7 hours away — Chicago, Illinois, Topeka and Wichita, Kansas, Grand Island, Nebraska, and even someone who stopped by on his way back home to Colorado. 🤯

But as cool as it is to have people traveling from hours away, what means the most to me is the support we’ve received right here in our own community — the place I now call home.

The referrals, the reviews, the recommendations, the repeat customers, and every person who has shared a post, sent someone my way, or simply stopped in to say hello — none of it goes unnoticed.

We started this with a dream, a lot of hard work, and a whole lot of faith. And seeing that dream slowly turn into something real is something I’ll never take for granted.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Michael for making the trip out from Columbia to pick up this brand new 16ft utility trailer! 🔥

Michael, thank you for being such an awesome guy to work with and get to know! What started out feeling like it was going to be a quick 30-minute conversation somehow turned into a few hours of sitting around talking about life, and honestly, I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

We talked about his time serving this great country, followed by an incredible 28 years as a correctional officer and, of course, all the crazy stories that come along with that kind of career. 😂

Then we got into your hobbies, including racing Crown Vics and building some of the craziest epoxy tables and lamps I’ve ever seen. Seriously, the stuff you create is absolutely incredible!

It’s customers like Michael that remind me why I love what I do. The trailer business is great, but getting the opportunity to meet people, hear their stories, learn about their lives, and build genuine relationships along the way is something I appreciate more than anything.

Michael, thank you again for making the trip, supporting small business, and most importantly, just being an incredible guy to spend an afternoon with. It was an absolute pleasure getting to know you!
