It’s Tele Tuesday, but here’s a new addition that’s equally at home on Straturday! After being intrigued by the pickup configuration on Robbie Robertson’s Last Waltz Strat, I wanted to explore the possibilities of two Strat pickups in the bridge position of a Tele. With the vast array of Strat spaced pickups, this bridge offers unlimited options for the player who isn’t afraid to forge a boldly unique tone. The two pickups can be wired in series (humbucker), parallel, or individually with a 4-way Tele switch, or blended with a Spin-a-split style mod. The only limitation is one’s own imagination!

Just wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a Merry Christmas from Van Dyke-Harms!

In all seriousness, I want to extend my deepest appreciation for an unprecedented level of interest in VDH through the holidays and deep into the new year as well. After working diligently to fulfill orders, it’s just about time to introduce some new bridge and saddle offerings that have been in the works, as well as a few other unique items. There’s a new Monolithic saddle on the test bed Tele today! Phosphor Bronze is a great option for those wanting to warm up the response of their instrument. Essentially, it shifts the emphasis from upper mids (brass) to lower mids, and provides a warm, even response with a lot of depth and harmonic complexity. Perfect for those who want to take their Tele into Gibson territory. These will be available at the first of next week, but you can get your name on the list by emailing through the VDH website!
