Chris here — just popping in with an update you definitely don’t want to miss. Our End of Summer Crazy Clearance Sale kicks off this Friday and runs all the way through Labor Day!

You can save up to 30% off select paints and model kits, and once these paints and kits are gone… they’re gone for good. This is the perfect time to stock.

The sale will be in‑store Friday through Labor Day. The shop will be closed on Labor Day, but the sale will still be live online so you can grab those last‑day deals.

Hey Everyone,

(Chris again) The road construction has finally reached the café’s front door, and it looks like the Hobby Shop won’t be far behind. As they begin working on the sidewalks out front, you may need to swing around the building to reach our entrance safely.

We just want everyone to be careful out there and to know that we’re still here, still open, and still grateful for every person who chooses to support local small businesses during all this chaos. Your visits help our family, our staff, and this little community we’ve built together.

We appreciate you more than you know, and we’ll see you soon at the shop. 💛

Hey Everyone,

Well, we have a sad announcement to make...
Today is officially our last day open…

…on Mondays 🤣🤣🤣

After chatting with our team and looking at Monday traffic, it just makes sense for us to go back to a six‑day schedule. Nothing dramatic — just us trying to run the shop smarter so we can keep doing what we love.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who stops by, hangs out, or orders online each week. Your support means the world to us, and we want to keep giving you the best experience we can.

Thanks for being part of our little hobby community and reading this entire post. You make this place what it is.

Hey everyone (Chris again),

We just want to say thank you again for all the reactions, shares, and honest comments on our last post. Your honesty means the world to us — even when it’s hard to hear — and we’re truly taking everything you shared to heart.

I am currently working on making some updates to the website, and our team is double‑checking quantities and pricing to make sure everything is accurate for you.

During the last big update about a year ago, we separated UpScale Hobbies, Gundam Paradise, and Imperium Miniatures into three distinct sections of our site. One of the comments we received mentioned that this might feel confusing or even disconnected when browsing.

Before we make any major changes, we’d really love to hear from you:
Should we keep the three brands separate, or bring everything back under the UpScale Hobbies brand?

Hey everyone, it’s Chris.

I’m writing this from a really honest place today. UpScale Hobbies started in 2017 in the basement — just a dream and a tiny online community that believed in us. When Covid hit, you all showed up in a way we’ll never forget. Our online sales kept us alive. You kept the site alive.

When we opened the physical store in 2021/2022, it felt like the next chapter. But somewhere along the way, our online sales faded as our in‑store sales grew.

Our online sales have dropped to very few each week. We updated the website about two years ago, expanded our product lines, and tried to keep things fresh — but we feel like we missed the mark somewhere.

So I’m asking, sincerely:

Why did you stop shopping with us online?
We’re not looking for sugarcoating. We’re looking for truth.

Was it the website?
Was it our social media silence?
Was it our stock levels?
Was it the products we carry now?
Or something we haven’t even thought of?

Since Mega Hobbies has closed, we know there’s a hole in the hobby community — and we want to be the shop that steps up. We want to be your go‑to online retailer again, like we used to be. We just need your help understanding how to get there.

The 4th of July is almost here—along with our country’s 250th birthday! 🇺🇸✨
Wishing everyone an amazing (and safe!) holiday weekend.

The shop will be open on the 4th from 9am–6pm, so swing by and finally grab that paint or model kit you’ve been eyeing. Holiday weekend = perfect time to start a new build!
