Not sure why it took us two-thirds of the summer to come to this realization, but coffee hour is going on hiatus until the fall. Our summer Saturdays fill up so quickly, it only makes sense to pause for a couple of months. We will announce more details later, but coffee hour will return sometime in September. Enjoy these last few weeks of summer!

🚨 Next week (June 22-26) we will be closing at 4pm each day. We are the directors of Vacation Bible School at our church that week and need to close up shop a bit early Monday through Friday in preparation. 🌴 You’re invited to join! The VBS theme this year is Rainforest Falls, June 22-26, at Steel City Mennonite Church, from 6:30 to 8:30pm. It is for kids ages 3 years old through 5th grade. 📢 Exciting News!
We’re moving IN 🏡

As many of you know, we have been renting the barn on the property at our current location for the past several years. As time went on, we began to dream about one day calling this place home. Through many twists and turns, the Lord provided a way for us. We officially bought the property and will be moving into the house this summer!

Putting roots down here will allow us to invest a lot more time and energy into both MSW Hardwood Lumber and Green Top Gift Shop. We have big dreams and plans for the future & cannot wait to share them with you in due time!

Thank you to everyone who dreamed with us and prayed for us. It’s still a bit surreal - we are humbled, amazed, and so so thankful. We know it is only by the grace of God that we can call this place home, and we intend to use the property to honor and glorify Him and to share His goodness with others.

This Friday, April 17, we will only be open for two brief windows of time — 10am to 11:30am and 12:30pm to 2pm. Here’s why…
Our church (Steel City Mennonite Church) is having an indoor yard sale this weekend & you’re invited! Phil will be there all day Friday, so Becca is watching the store in between running kids to and from school.
The yard sale is from 9am to 3pm both days, and there is tons of stuff to hunt through! On Saturday only there is also a chicken BBQ fundraiser from 11am-2pm. Our shops will be open on Saturday but there’s no coffee hour and Phil will be up at the church.
We would love to see you at either event this weekend, and we’ve done our best to keep the shop available for your lumber needs as well 😊
