As you know, we don’t gate keep great things. So when you are needing a brand new book and want to buy LOCAL, you must visit Once Upon a Crime in downtown Smithfield, NC. We just visited yesterday to purchase a brand new release of a series I’m in love with. Owner Danielle is a jewel and just as passionate about books as Shawn and I are 🥰

Oh yes they did! We are back open until 8pm Thursday - Friday! That means MORE BOOK TIME! Wooo hoooo!!!!! Come check out the new menu as well.

Guess what?! We’re back for evening dinners on Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays!
Now open 7am-8pm Thursday-Saturday, 8am-4pm Sunday, & Monday - Wednesday 7am-4pm.

It’s 1:12 am on Thursday morning as I’m typing this and we’re still going strong to finish. Being realistic here… we need some sleep, SO we will be re-opening at 11am this morning. This gives us a couple more hours here and a couple hours to snooze before we open. We will NOT BE SERVING BREAKFAST & BAGELS TODAY, for obvious reasons. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work on our store and menu improvements.

We’re so excited for everyone to see the changes and even more excited to launch our new menu NEXT Monday, August 3rd! Man do we have some surprises up our sleeves 😉

Make sure to be on the lookout for menu sneak peeks over the next 4 days till we kick off new menu on Monday.
