WE WILL NEVER FORGET

Today, Keowee Outdoors pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the innocent lives taken, the first responders who ran toward danger, the heroes who gave everything, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

May we always remember the courage, sacrifice, and unity our nation showed in the days that followed.

Golden hour hits different on Lake Keowee 🌅

For information, there’s no public safety risk, but Hartwell will be below full pond for the foreseeable future while the Corps of Engineers develops a fix for the recurring leakage past the Saddle dikes (near the ESSO Club). It’s currently at elevation 656 due to drought, and will be kept below full pond until repairs are made.
