The Woodbury Shoppe is a one of a kind fan experience. You can see the work of master FX artist Greg Nicotero’s zombie bust of the “Bicycle Girl”. Visit our “museum” where you can take a photo from inside the actual prison cells from seasons 3 and 4. Other photo opportunities include the dentist chair and motorcycle. And you never know when you might bump into a cast member!

The famous Episode 1 Hospital doors have made it upstairs to their new home!

We are getting everything else moved but there is more work to be done. Due to this, we are going to DELAY OPENING TILL 1PM TOMORROW!!
Our staff is working hard to get everything set up perfectly for this new phase of The Official Walking Dead Store/Museum!

Since there seems to be confusion we would like to clear it up as best as possible.
Recommending to READ THIS COMPLETELY.

Is the museum shutting down permanently?
Answer: the downstairs museum portion is permanently closed as of July 22nd.

Where will the museum pieces go?
Answer: pieces such as the prison cells and Andrea’s Dental chair will go into storage. Everything else that is small will be moved upstairs along with the Don’t Open Dead Inside Doors.

Will any pieces be auctioned off or sold?
Answer: No

What will happen to the signatures on the museum walls?
Answer: they are going photographed and put into a catalog for guest to see. Some that can be turned into a dry transfer sticker will be placed upstairs. We obviously know this is not the same as them live signing the walls but we hope to preserve as many as possible. Cutting the dry wall was not an option we were allowed to do so this is our next best option.

Will the retail portion remain open?
Answer: yes, we are closed for one week currently to have renovations done to make the space more optimal for museum pieces and guest. We reopen July 31st.

Will the online store remain open for orders?
Answer: yes, we recommend it his especially while we are closed. We will still be fulfilling orders including wall pieces throughout the temporary store closure.

Why is the museum closing?
Answer: it comes down to cost and decrease in visitors once the show ended. We are extremely sad about the museum portion closure but we are hoping these changes will help ensure the longevity of the store. We still recommend all visit who can or check out our online store!

REMINDER TO ALL TWD FAMILY
The Official Walking Dead Store will reopen July 31st!

Over the next week the store will be getting much needed improvements to allow for more space for Museum items being moved upstairs.
Our ONLINE STORE will be available to purchase any TWD merch we have in stock during our renovations. Link will be provided below in the comments!
Alexandria Wall Pieces will still continue to ship out as well. New merch as well as restocks will be posted here within the next week.

Today is the MUSEUMS LAST DAY!
11AM-5PM!!

We all have heavy hearts here, but we are keeping heads high as we move into the next phase of The Official Walking Dead Store.
All signatures are to be cataloged, the Don’t Open Dead Inside doors will be moved upstairs, all museum pieces we can fit will be moved up as well and construction begins to revamp the retail portion.

We want to thank each and every person who made the journey over the last month and a half to visit the museum. It has meant the world to us all. We have watched memories be made and we will cherish them forever.

Reminder that the retail portion will be closed for the construction starting tomorrow. It will reopen July 31st!

At the end of the day we will post a full tour video of the museum for those that could not make the trip here. It will ensure the museum forever lives on through the fans!

Alrighty folks today is the DAY!!
 We will be open from 11 AM to 5 PM for regular customer visits. Remember it has no admission fee to go check out the museum during regular business hours.
For those attending our Farewell to The Walking Dead Museum Event:
Please remember that if you arrive before 5 PM we are asking that you start to lineup in our basement entrance. Have your email confirmation ready and guest ready to provide names for our guest list.
Your special location tour with Water Tower Tours will begin once everybody is accounted for. We do recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and wear a hat or sunglasses or even bring a fan.
Once you return, that is when we will provide food and drinks and the silent auction items will be available to begin bids on.
We do recommend that you bring cash for auction items, but if needed, we can still accept card payment.
A full catalog will be printed, and several copies will be provided to view before you leave for the tour as well.
At the end of our event, we will pass out auction items with payment and then everyone will be able to sign the portion of the museum wall before departing at 7:30.
We at the official walking dead Store in museum are so thankful for all of our visitors both during regular hours and during this event, we can’t thank you enough for taking your time to see everything one last time before the museum door are closed forever.

Event Post!!!

The farewell to The Official Walking Dead Museum Event is only 4 days away🥹
We are excited and sad at the same time.

First: for those that were unable to get a ticket we would like to remind everyone that we will still be open regular business hours everyday till 5 PM July 22nd.

For ticket holders: we recommend everyone who arrives before 5PM, please begin to line up downstairs in the basement entrance door. Have your email confirmation ready and guest ready to provide names for our list to confirm entry.
Tour: Water Tower Tour team will be making groups to begin the tour first. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and if possible bring a fan or way to keep cool.
Food: Nic n Norman’s will be provided after the tour along with water, sodas and lemonade.
Silent Auction: as you enjoy the museum and eating the Auction items will be on display with the Forms to fill out as the rest of the event takes place. We will have copies of our catalog printed to view items ahead of time in the store upon arrival.
We Highly recommend bringing cash for these items but we can also accept card payment as well if needed.
Photos: take as many as you like! Cherish ever inch of the museum
We will be offering printed photos in front the Don’t Open Dead Inside doors for $5.

Other information: you will be able to shop and walk around the museum and store till 7:30PM. We will be working with as much room as possible so please be sure to remember be patient and understanding as we navigate the evening with a very full house.

We are beyond thankful for all those who are visiting us and who have made the journey in these last few weeks.
