Small batch. Hand poured. Made in Sequim. 🕯️
Creating good smells & cozy spaces in the PNW since 1997. Our Votives are a Soy/Paraffin blend. started as a hobby.

Our Pillar candles are made from ultra refined food grade paraffin, superb quality fragrance oils and cotton wicks. Remembering to trim your wick every couple hours while burning your candle will make for a perfect burning candle every time. The Soy insures a clean burn while still retaining the great scent release of paraffin. In 1996 Full Moon Candle Co. But as the popularity of these candles grew, so did the business. We started as a wholesale supplier of our candles in the fall of 1996. As our business grew, so did our ideas. So in 1999 we opened our first retail store in beautiful downtown Sequim, Washington. In 2001 we tripled our retail space to accommodate all our loyal customers. In 2002 we opened our second store in historic downtown Bisbee, Arizona. In 2006 we sold the Arizona location. We have worked hand in hand with various perfumers and chemists to unravel the mystery of what makes a burning candle smell heavenly and burn perfect. Finding inspiration in nature, memories, world travels, spas and everyday life, our candle technician has the most unique sense of smell. She can bring different scents together in a way you never dreamed would work. If she wants a particular scent made into a candle fragrance, she is the one to make it happen. The testing that’s involved to create just one new fragrance can take up to a year or longer. All our candles are made in our wax studio on the beautiful and green North Olympic Peninsula Coast. We NEVER share your email address with anyone!! We don't appreciate unsolicited spam and know you don't either. We employ people who are as excited about our product as we are and volunteers who are giddy just to be working around our amazing scents. We take pride in the quality of our candles as well as our great reputation. Our candles are hand poured in batches of 50 so we can devote more attention to detail and quality control. Any candle that doesn’t meet our high standards is retired to our cosmetically challenged shelf, which is the first place our regular customers shop in our Sequim store. We are simply thrilled to offer on our website what customers nationwide already know as - The Perfect Candle. Our candles are truly unique, using only the finest ingredients and fragrances you have to smell to believe. With just a trim of the wick, our candles will burn for 100 hours, 200 hours, or 300 hours. Our candle expert has truly mastered the art & science of creating the most amazing candles. You only have to burn ONE candle to see for yourself what all the chatter is about. Find scents that remind you of your grandmama, your childhood, scents that inspire passion & romance, fragrance for meditation or to energize your soul, or something to completely change the atmosphere of your space. We promise you won’t be disappointed. We invite you to see for yourself and let us know about your experience. All web orders are shipped from our store in Washington. Our candles make the perfect gift for someone you love, or perhaps just for yourself. Don’t YOU deserve the best?! We appreciate your visit to our website and wish you a happy day.

Realizing you’re both the employee who can’t stay on task AND the manager who’s sick of her s**t 🫣🤪

👋 Hey there, remember us?!
We’ve been a little quiet on here, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been busy!

Between making candles, keeping the shop stocked, and running kids around to soccer, social media has taken a backseat lately. ⚽️🤪

We’re soaking up the last few days of Halloween before the pumpkins come down and Christmas takes over. 🎃🎄 I’ve got lots of Christmas goodies waiting to hit the shelves!

🔥 We’ve also been busy making these cute little fire starters. Perfect for fireplaces, wood stoves, and fire pits. They come in sets of four and make great little gifts… or grab a box for yourself 😉

If you haven’t been in lately, come see us! Stock up on your favorite scents, check out what’s new, and maybe get a little Christmas shopping done while you’re at it. 🛍️

As always, thank you for supporting our little family business. ❤️

Watching my girls play will always be my favorite 💕⚽️

Except when it’s raining.
Or windy.
Or too hot.
Or freezing cold.

Apparently my unconditional love has weather conditions. Who knew 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just a little reminder from our family… 💕

Full Moon Candle Co. is a small, local, family-owned business — and part of that means our girls are growing up right alongside it.

We’re teaching our daughters how to work hard, help customers, run a register, solve problems, communicate with people, and hopefully someday know what it takes to own and operate a small business of their own. They’re learning — and sometimes that means they may need an extra minute, ask a question, or not know the answer right away.

To the MANY customers who have been patient, encouraging, kind, and even taken the time to compliment our girls while they’re working — thank you!! ❤️ You have no idea how much that means to us as parents.

And just a gentle reminder… when you walk into our shop, the kid helping you behind the counter isn’t “just an employee.” She’s our daughter. She’s learning. And she deserves the same kindness and respect we expect her to give you.

We’re incredibly proud of our girls for wanting to be part of this, and we’re thankful for the customers who help make learning this business a positive experience for them. 🕯️💕

Getting ready for spooky season! 🎃👻

Halloween has slowly been making its way into the shop, and Liv’s idea was perfect!

She decided candy corn needed a wax melt version, and I have to admit…it turned out pretty cute. 😆

Halloween is one of her favorite holidays so she was pretty excited to see this idea come together!

Candy corn wax melts are officially here!💛🧡🤍
