Every wedding has a hero. 🌸

Not every flower is meant to play the same role. Sometimes one bloom steps forward and completely changes the story.

It might be the flower that brings the color. The one that is impossibly oversized. The one that adds movement, texture, romance, or just a little bit of drama.

Whatever it contributes, it goes above and beyond. When we design Peg and I often discuss the hero flower. In the attached photos it was a dark orange rose. It was unplanned and a substitution but it was everything that made this design pop.

We still discuss that orange rose. Past brides feel free to ask in the comments section what the hero flower was. We will tell you the hero from your wedding. I will even ask Peg and we will compare stories. It may even give you a behind the scenes story from your wedding you didn’t know.

A seating chart with a little bit of love 💕

For this Allegheny Country Club wedding, we created a lush hydrangea es**rt table using vessels sourced from the bride’s mom’s collection, filled with limelight and strawberry hydrangeas grown right here in my own garden.

Add a few perfectly placed touches of blush ribbon from Aya Sumika and suddenly a seating table becomes something much more personal — layered with family, garden-grown blooms, and beautiful little details.

Grooms, gather ’round. There is a very important piece of wedding etiquette we need to discuss…

If your bride-to-be has a bridal shower, you are not required to plan the shower but you are expected to know it happened. And if you’re picking her up and making an appearance? Flowers are always a good idea. 💐

Bridal shower flowers don’t have to be extravagant. They just need to feel thoughtful, beautiful, and very much like her.

So, grooms… consider this your official floral etiquette lesson. Extra bonus points if you bring a small bouquet for your two moms. 😊

Happy Black Cat Appreciation Day to two very special sisters. 🖤🐈‍⬛

Batty & Luna came from the same litter, share the same beautiful black coats, and apparently inherited the exact same appreciation for flowers. 🌸🌿

One loves to supervise the floral studio, the other prefers to admire the finished arrangements with The Merrie Chef … and both firmly believe every bouquet is better with a cat nearby.

Homecoming, but make it easy ✨

Homecoming is coming, and we’re upgrading the details that make getting ready just a little easier!

Our boutonnières now feature magnetic closures from Dj for easy, fuss-free placement, no wrestling with pins! And our wrist corsages are getting an upgrade too, with soft, adjustable Velcro bracelets from B&W Wholesale for a comfortable fit that stays put.

🎄 Yes, we’re already talking Christmas. 🎄

If Christmas decorating is on your list this year, now is the time to start thinking about it. Our late November and December calendar is already beginning to fill, and we’d love to create something beautiful for your home, business, or holiday celebration.

So while it may still feel like summer outside, we’re thinking Christmas. 🎄
