Twenty-five years later, we remember.

On September 11, 2001, photojournalist Bill Biggart picked up his cameras and headed toward the World Trade Center. While others were being led to safety, Bill continued to document what was unfolding—preserving moments of courage, devastation and humanity.

He did not make it home that day.

Four days later, Bill’s cameras were recovered from the debris. They were badly damaged, but a memory card survived, preserving his final photographs and the story he risked his life to tell.

Today, we remember Bill. We remember the thousands of lives lost, the first responders who ran toward danger, the families who carried unimaginable loss, and everyone whose life was forever changed that morning.

Twenty-five years later, their stories still matter.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
