Hey everyone just a heads up to all the racers that choose Blue Groove for there tire needs. As of now till January 2 we will not be doing any tire cutting, although we will still be excepting orders. Hope this doesent cause anyone too many problems there just been some stuff we have wanted to change n hasn't been enough time to complete between tire orders. Sorry for any inconvenience. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays.

As some have already heard, our ability to source the the purple foam for the purple stripe spec tires has become cost prohibitive. In fact, we began using a blue foam we had in the shop for hand out tires at the Ovalmasters and Tour Nats to prolong our supply of purple foam. We have finally reached the point where the switch to a different foam has become necessary. Many of you will begin recieving World GT tires with a blue stripe. Don’t worry. Nothing is wrong or illegal about your tires. They are the same shore rating as before with a blue stripe instead of purple. Some of you may still receive tires with purple stripes until those supplies run out, keep running them. Once we have exhausted all the purple striped tires(10th, 12th, dirt oval) from our stock, blue will be the replacement color for all our spec tires.

**Edit for clarity: These are still the same foam compound. The only change is to the colored piece of foam used for the identifier stripe. The tire itself has not changed. The WGT and 12th scale spec tires will be exactly the same as before except with a blue stripe. The dirt oval will be exactly the same as before except with a blue stripe. The rest of the tire is still the same foam it has always been. Apologies if that was not clear.

Sorry guys I know its been a long while since I've posted anything. I've just been very busy. But I'm back an plan to keep you all notified of some changes this year. To start I'm in the process of some changes on the cutting machines and trying to make diameter changes faster and cross cut depths more precise. So I'd like some feed back from everyone on what's your depth preference on cross cuts.
