Do you ever feel like you just can’t figure out one more thing? Like you’ve solved a lot of problems and you just can’t rearrange your brain to figure out one more thing? I do.
Please accept my profound apologies, Bloomington Farmers Market friends, because I will not be there today. Last night, I fell into bed far later than usual and did my usual pre-market checklist of setting alarms and looking up my spot. No spot! Friends, I decided to set that ball down. It has been a long week of juggling, of picking up dropped balls. I love being my own boss and being the one helping family navigate stuff, and I usually find a sense of purpose doing a lot of the problem solving for my life. None of my things are giant, insurmountable problems - I can figure them out! All 297 of them. But when I didn’t have a booth assignment for the market today, I hit a wall. I decided it was a sign from the universe to sleep an extra hour, take a little time to tidy up my neglected garden, and finish a few more pots for next weekend. Like these fish!! Aren’t they great?
I will be back in BN for Sugar Creek on Oct. 3-4 & if you read this far, drop a comment sharing when you have had to set a ball down. Or why you like fish. We can’t do it all, friends 💚
