🔧 Fix-It Friday: Dryer Not Heating?

Dryer running… but your clothes are still damp or cold?

Before calling for service, try these simple fixes 👇

⚡ 1. Reset the Breaker
Electric dryers use 220V, and sometimes only half the breaker trips.

👉 Flip the dryer breaker OFF completely, then back ON
(Even if it doesn’t look tripped)

🌬️ 2. Check the Vent & Airflow
Poor airflow = no drying.

✔️ Clean lint trap
✔️ Check vent hose behind dryer
✔️ Go outside and make sure air is actually blowing out

🧹 3. Clean Out Excess Lint
Lint buildup inside the dryer can block airflow and cause heating issues (and even become a fire risk).

🔧 Fix-It Friday: No Ice? Try This First!

Got a French door or side-by-side refrigerator that stopped making ice… but the water dispenser still works?

Before replacing the ice maker, try these quick fixes 👇

❄️ 1. Replace the Water Filter
A clogged or old filter can restrict water flow just enough to stop ice production—even if water still works.
👉 If it’s been 6+ months, replace it first.

🧊 2. Check the Ice Maker Switch / Arm
Make sure the ice maker is actually turned ON.
✔️ Arm (if equipped) should be in the down position
