Unloading a hot kiln. It’s hard to wait. I’ll let it cool a bit before unloading the rest. You can hear my other bisque kiln firing in the background. That load will fire, cool and then be prepped for glazing and firing this weekend. 19 days until the start of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Come check out our booth (634) rain or shine. Cheers

Cheers

This one went a little crazy. I’ve been firing my glaze kiln hotter. Hard cone 6 with a 15 minute hold at 2220 Fahrenheit and a slow cool to 1600. Heat work can change a glaze profoundly
This goblet has two glazes that run a lot and a stain that also fluxes. I had to do a bit of grinding but it turned out great
Come buy it or other artwork at our booth, 634, at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Open for our 26th season. Getting better with age.
Cheers
