Due to the road conditions and freezing temperatures again tonight, we will not be open tomorrow, Monday February 2nd. We will keep an eye on the weather and make a decision when it comes to opening on Tuesday.

As of June 30th, due to a bill that has passed in NC, we are no longer able to sell ni****ne v**e products. If anything changes in the future, we will let you know.

Also, we will be closed Friday, July 4th and Saturday, July 5th.

I have had the sign up for a while now, however, just wanted to remind everyone that our new SATURDAY business hours will start this Saturday, June 7th. Our business hours on SATURDAYs will be 9am to 2pm from here on out. We will continue to be open from 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday.

Josh made it to the shop, but our backroads are still in pretty bad shape.

Today Josh tried to get to town to open. Our back roads are completely frozen over. Our employees also live off of back roads that are frozen over. We really want to be open, however, it is too risky. We will not be open today. We are hoping with the weather getting to above freezing temperatures tomorrow that our road conditions will improve. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We will be closing tomorrow, Friday May 12th, at 1:30pm. Some of you may remember Josh’s niece who worked for us for a period of time. She has completed Nursing School and her graduation ceremony is tomorrow. We do not have the staff available to stay open passed 1:30pm tomorrow. If you plan on stopping by, please come before then. It is important that we are able to leave at 1:30 so we can make it to her ceremony on time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We will be CLOSED Saturday, December 18th
We will be CLOSING at 2PM on Friday, December 24th
We will be CLOSED Saturday, December 25th
We will be CLOSED Saturday, January 1st

In addition to the great news that we don’t have Covid and we can reopen tomorrow, I would also like to add something. Although most of the people who reached out did so in support, we did have a couple of messages/comments where people felt we put them and their families in danger because they stopped by our shop the day before we closed. We apologize. Although we don’t have Covid, Covid (or any other virus) takes 2 to 14 days before you show symptoms and you are contagious even before you show them. Aside from staying home or wrapping yourself in a bubble, there is always a possibility for you to come in contact with Covid out there..even in contact with someone who doesn’t know they have it. We have had plexiglass shields around all display cases and hand sanitizer available to customers for over a year now. As soon as we had symptoms, we decided to close the shop without notice, which is something that we normally wouldn’t do. We would never intentionally put our customers in danger just to make a dollar. And being a small business that supports our entire household, closing for three days was not an easy decision to make. We may be in business to make money, however, we have always truly cared about our customers. We are so grateful to be back in business! I hope everyone stays healthy out there.

Update! Great News!
Josh’s Covid test results came back Negative! Although he is still not feeling 100% better, he has improved greatly and is no longer contagious. With his negative test results and with his fever being gone since Tuesday evening, the doctor has cleared us to reopen. We will be open tomorrow (Friday) at 9:00AM. The shop will be sanitized beforehand. Thank you to those who reached out to ask us how we were doing and keeping us in your thought and prayers. We are grateful to be back in business!
