J. Hoffman Knives I'm a part-time knifemaker in Shawano. I make handmade knives in a small shop in the Mooseyards. I also do professional sharpening. I'm a part-time knifemaker.

I usually work with High carbon steels such as 1095 and 1084. I prefer natural materials such as wood for handles, but also use man-made composites, carbon fiber, micarta and G10. I'm also an NRA certified instructor for Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun, Personal Protection Inside and Outside the Home, and Home Firearm Safety.
