Good Morning! We are closed in store, but feel free to visit us at the Sheboygan County Fair. We are located at booth #31 and #32 (between the dirt track, open class building, and 4H building). Also, please come vote for your favorite quilt block from our block competition for Project Linus. All winners will be announced next week Tuesday. Lastly, we have the brand new Janome HD8 on display. There is lots to come check out, and we hope to see you this weekend!

We are very excited to show everyone the new models being released by Janome!

The first machine we are highlighting is the Skyline S8. This machine has all of the great features of the Skyline S7, but it adds the ASR foot capabilities. (Free motion stitch regulator).

Next, is the new Sew Switch 30. This unique machine has similar features to the 3160QDC line (which is one of our most popular machines) but adds a serger on the back! Sew and switch to serging all on the same machine.

Lastly, the HD8 is a straight stitch only machine. Sewing at speeds of up to 1,600 per minute, this machine is sure to be a great addition for any of our quilters, bag makes, or crafters. This is one of the newest additions in Janome’s HD Series and we feel it fills an important role in the feedback we have received from customers. Not only are the sewing features enough to make any crafter happy, it comes with the extension table, darning foot and plate, and the walking foot.

We will receive they HD8 first and the other new models later this year before Christmas season. Please call for pricing and availability.

We will be open today from 9:30am to 4:15pm.

In addition, Darryl and Ashleigh will be in Chicago at a conference with Janome. There will be no service technicians in office today.

We have received a large donation of fleece for Project Linus. All fleece is smaller cuts, under 40 by 50. Fleece is free to be picked up by anyone who can/will use it for donation projects. Please call ahead as I am sure this will not be here long. We will update this post when all fleece is gone.

There’s something new to the Manitowoc County Fair, the 6th Annual Woman’s Day Event with focus on Educating Today’s Woman from health, beauty, finance, and business sponsored by Community First Credit Union.

We're doing it again! This is our official announcement for the Project Linus Quilt Block Competition.

This is a great time to visit your local quilt shop! The 15th annual Wisconsin Quilt Shop Hop will be going on from June 1rst to the 30th and they are releasing Fair themed fabrics during this edvent.
"This year, for our 15th Anniversary we are delighted to introduce an exclusive fabric line from Riley Blake called ‘WISCONSIN BEST IN SHOW’"

Attached are two quilts made from last year's blocks. Don't worry if your block is missing; it will be added to a quilt made from this year's blocks. We had an awkward number of blocks, so we decided to wait since we're doing the county fair theme again.

Darryl and Ashleigh are at H+H America Trade show in Chicago today. They will be taking a class with Janome and will update with more pictures later. H+H is an industry trade show for fiber arts.
