I made some small size conditioner bars tonight. Smoothing the tops, bottoms and sides took a long time. These feature cocoa butter, argan oil, hydrolyzed rice protein, provitamin B 5, and goats milk powder. Perfect for light weight conditioner to help provide volume for fine thin hair. I just finished my own version of the doTERRA deep blue stick. I am calling this Blue Lightening Relief Stick EXTRA STRENGTH MUSCLE RUB using my Deep Freeze & Recovery Formula. It is Infused with Wintergreen, Copaiba & Pure Blue Botanicals.

Yesterday was a body butter cream day. Unlike traditional body butters this recipe incorporates water so is not as greasy and absorbs better into skin
I made 2 batches using different essential oils.

The first batch I made is a woodsy-floral blend that I am calling Nirvana Body Butter Cream.

The second batch I made is a citrus-floral blend that I am calling Lotus Land Body Butter Cream.

Both are amazing imo.

I haven't posted in a very long time. First I want to thank everyone that has bought my patterns or finished custom made items past and present. It means the world to me to know the creations I came up with using yarn and looms. I honestly feel like loom knitting saved my life when I was struggling and helped so much to help me make friends from all over, feel productive, provide some meaning/purpose to life and earn a little income when I wasn't able to work outside of the house. Becoming one of the first "designers" for CinDWood looms was and still is such an honor as I truly love how great of a company they are. The looms, the women behind it, their willingness to help new designers find a place to share their patterns/designs and more is so amazing.
Naturally life ebbs and flows. For some personal reasons creating items with yarn and looms isn't as easy as it used to be.
However, I have found a new way to fill that void that feels just as rewarding and fulfilling as when I first started with yarn and looms. Thanks to the monthly diy recipe boxes from Simply Earth I have become obsessed with making things with essential oils, primarily skincare items so far but also some haircare items, diffusing items, and haircare items. I have created a name for my new " brand" which I think captures my aesthetic and the use of simple and mostly natural ingredients. No toxins, no yuck, no extra ingredients that aren't needed, no names you can't pronounce or understand.
I am slowly planning on changing this page to lean towards the craft I am working on now and hope you will follow along with me and my journey. I hope I can share things I learn, help others learn them as well, and showcase the items I have made available to sell. And of course I want to stick to providing custom orders based on your unique needs/wants same as when I did things with yarn.
