Hi y'all. Due to unforseen circumstances, we have had to close our shop in Shelbina permanently today. We are disappointed to lose the shop location BUT are excited as we begin transitioning This 'n That Country Store into an online store.
We will also continue to be at local fairs and vendor events so check us out there in the meantime.

Please continue to follow and like our page and invite others who may be interested in our merchandise to do the same. Your choice to support our small business is tremendously important to us and we hope you stick around to see our online endeavor. Stay tuned!

This 'n That Country Store will be out at Mark Twain Old Threshers in Paris, MO Friday-Sunday. We will have antiques, quilted items, books and more!

We will also be featuring products by Crooked Creek Valley at our table ( Crooked Creek Valley ). They will have farm fresh quail eggs, a variety of delicious pickled quail eggs, and fresh worm tea for sale. Stop by and see us!

Mark Twain Old Threshers

At This 'n That Country Store we have many beautiful quilted items for sale. These items include mug rugs, which are small quilts that can be used as an accent under lamps, as candle mats, or hot pads, as well as quilted table runners, place mats, hot bowl holders, and blankets. Some are created with batik fabric. Batik is an ancient Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing on fabric which results in fabrics with unique and amazing designs.

Most items are hand made by the shop owner and available for very affordable prices. Come by and see what we have to offer. We would love to see you!

We added an antiques corner to This 'n That Country Store earlier this year. Featured is our beautiful, solid wood, antique Chinese furniture. These amazing pieces are approximately 140 years old and were bought in China and transported here. They are small and versatile pieces that add their own style to any room.
Interesting fact! The Chinese did not use nails in their furniture during this time period. They fit the furniture together like puzzle pieces. See the pictures for examples of this intricate technique!

In addition, we have a Currier and Ives lithograph from the 1800's, an antique brass candlestick, 19th century knives and forks with bone handles, old leathered covered books, and an antique pewter cup with a wood handle.
