We welcome long-time Shelburne Falls bookseller Nancy Dole to the The Mill at Shelburne Falls! Though she is still setting up, she is open for business weds. through Fridays 11-5. Located in a space a few doors down from Raven used books. The store specializes in ephemera, books on Railroads, and general and antiquarian inventory.

Book Launch! Saturday, Jan. 10th 6:30 pm

Mac Loftin, author of the recently published book In the Twilight of the Christian West: A Theology of Mourning and Resistance (Orbis, 2025) will be here to discuss his new work. Loftin is lecturer on theology at Harvard University. He draws on the vision of antifascist thinkers, mystics, and theologians including Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Simone Weil, and Michel de Certeau to reveal how these revolutionaries forged potent theological resistance in their own fraught political moments by recovering a radically different Christian tradition: one that embraces impermanence, reconciliation, difference, and the liberative work of mourning.
