Privette The website says it’s water resistant, so I feel like that is true since a lot didn’t get in. We use the slim ice packs in the bottom, and they last while we’re at the beach. Most of the things we put in the bottom are already cold and not room temp. I did put a room temp drink in and it got cold faster than I thought it would though! 😊🌊
