Saturday Sept 5th: Good morning Fishing Family, and welcome to a long weekend!

The shop is open normal hours today 8am to 10:30am (I might stay a bit later pending traffic, and will update)

The water levels continue to drop locally, mostly clearing. We have had several mutli-species days in the last week, consistently catching small mouth, walleye, northern pike, catfish, suckers etc Targeting higher oxygen areas (dams/confluence, pools around rip rap flow)

I have been going back and forth from jig and plastic to jig and nightcrawler, and sometimes hitting flats more aggressively with spinners and weighted cranks.

I have the fridge stocked with new crawlers to get your labor day weekend started, so come on in!

Update on hours August 29th-30th: Hello fishing family, the shop will be open a little earlier tomorrow, and closing a little earlier as well:

Saturday August 29th: 7:30am to 9:30am

Sunday August 30th: 8:30am to 10:30 am (Normal hours)

Friday August 21st: Good Morning Fishing Family. We will have the shop staffed from 9am to 2pm today, and then shutting down early for an event.

For Saturday and Sunday we will have slightly adjusted hours as well, which I will post on the Door.

Saturday Aug 22nd will be 8:30 to 10:30 (could be longer pending foot traffic)

Sunday will 10:30am to Noon

Saturday Aug 15th: Good Morning fishing family. The shop is open normal hours (8am to 10:30am)

The bite has been up and down the column the last few days with weather pushing in. The best combo working for me in the river right now is back to the basics with a jig and nightcrawler, working slow.

Come see me to get on the water between rain showers this weekend :)
