A rant and a caution:
There are so many quilt pattern scams on the internet!! It takes a lot of time, work, and personal creativity to create a pattern and then make it available for sale.
The designers deserve to receive the royalties, recognition, and other benefits from each of their patterns.
Please be careful of buying from scam sites which are -bottom line- stealing from those designers.
There is now an additional scam being used by these companies. I recently came across an image of a pattern that I really like. The post came from one of those scam companies, so I've tried to find the original designer or a legitimate seller.
I tried a couple of AI platforms for a search. One of them just wanted to help me with the design.
I will tell you frankly, Right now, designers have nothing to fear from AI!! It does not understand correctly how to construct quilts! The instructions I got were pretty funny.
The Google AI gave me this result, after I finally asked the right question:

"The pattern advertised by NaNa Quilt Shop does not have a legitimate original designer, because the image is entirely AI-generated."

Before you waste your time and money, if you're buying from an online site, do some research. They will often even claim the name of a designer. More than likely they are primarily set up to gather your information.
I have made the mistake of buying without the research, and what I've recieved has either been a poorly photocopied copy of the pattern, or a pattern that just looks similar and is either a photocopy, or something with really poor instructions.
There are also a lot of free patterns being advertised that have AI generated instructions. They never have enough information, you will waste your time and possibly fabric.

I'm including the image, just in case you've seen it, and thought about purchasing. Also, NaNa quilt shop is a scam!!
