Streetfest is June 6!
For The Fairy Shop this means your chance at the biggest selection of thrift clothes of the year and I've got some real treasures!
I will also be putting out all of the backstock Indian made clothes so you can have the full range of options! (If you have decision paralysis, this might not be helpful.)

Today was a delightful day at the shop. I am amazed at the quality of my customers. People from varying economic and cultural backgrounds, from all over the country...just such lovely people. People I'd like to get to know. People I think I'd really like hanging out with.
I am so glad that other folks feel the same way about it. The hope I can feel is allowing me to be thinking about ways of creating more community among the folks that shop with me, because I know how much you'd all like each other, and I'd be happy to see more of all of you.
We've made an enormous amount of progress on the fnudra1zer (feel free to submit your alternate versions, I'll use them on later posts, cuz the only way to get it seen is to post it way too much. Ugh! This platform! Also, this version sounds like a sneeze to me.)

28%!!! We're well on our way to the goal and I know I'll get to keep being the fairy lady of Shepherdstown!

Today that has an extra special meaning because a whole bunch of my OG fairy girls just attended their last day of high school! 11 of these girls were at my very first Fairy Tea Party ever! Congratulations! I am so happy for you and can't wait to see what you get up to next!

We will be bringing the fairy tea parties back in some form this year. All of you who have donated and shared and who will donate are making that possible. I can't wait to welcome my next generation of fairies!

Please keep sharing so we can wrap this fundraiser up and get on with being whimsical.

For those who love this place. How much is it worth to know that this place will still be here 2 years from now? 5 years from now?
If we make it to the next incarnation then I'm confident the store will still be in Shepherdstown in 30 years.
