Was greeted by an awesome sunrise this morning and had a great time on the water with great friends! Caught our fish today on topwater swimbaits and slabs!

Our trip for today ended up having to reschedule so Drake and I decided to go out and catch a few fish for the table. We caught these white bass and Stripers on topwaters and swim baits today. The big fish was caught and released and was one of the largest overs I’ve seen lately. I have lots of open dates in August. September and October are starting to get busy so if you’re looking to go then better start thinking about it. We have a new boat in the works and hope to have it ready for the fall run!

Day 2 the fishing was not quite as fast this morning as it was yesterday but we still managed a nice box of fish on slabs. I did not see nearly as much topwater activity today. Lots of boats out there this morning and by the time we got off the water the big boats were arriving for tomorrow’s poker run. Fun times on Lake Texoma! Boogs Guide Service

Wasn’t planning on fishing this morning but got a call late last night to help out one of my guide friends so we went out this morning and slabbed a few up. Some guys did well today on live bait but I just prefer the slab bite this time of year. Fish are biting but weekdays are definitely better than weekends right now with all the boat traffic.

Helped the Beeson’s today on a multi boat group trip and we got them good on slabs! The bite wasn’t as good as yesterday but was still good enough to get er done! There were times the screen would be loaded up and the fish not really feeding but I guess it was just that type of day. Boat traffic was pretty heavy and probably wasn’t helping much.
