Food is on my mind today. Are you ready to "Winter In?" That is what we would say when we re-enacted the pioneer folk at Champoegg State Park. Where did all those efforts go to celebrate our heritage? Where did all the small farms go that sold produce to can? Where did all the whole milk go that would sit in quart jars in the refrigerator with a crust of cream on top. Lost are the Progressive Dinners with three pound roasted chicken. Lost are the corn chowder soups in the dead of winter. That was the things that made Sherwood Oregon so special.

Who ever thought, and in their right mind that people would be in favor of tearing everything down, making people suffer, and taking things away from people who worked so hard to make it happen? It is not a happy thought. To taunt others and belittle them without even knowing them? Is that what Christians do these days? I will be praying for your souls tomorrow on Sunday.
