I want to personally thank all the dealers that make the Shippensburg Show what it is. Another great turnout and an incredible day of sports cards/tcg in Ship. I've had some time to reflect on show 14 and have a few announcements.
1) The next show will be in November with the official date coming soon.
2) we tried Treasure for payments for the first time and thank everyone for their patience as we navigated the app for the first time. This caused a slight drop in communication but we will improve this through the app going forward. Overall things went smoothly. I'll work to get us a cleaner interactive map to limit confusion on show day, but for the most part it went really smoothly.
3) Food will be back at the next show
4) the goal was always to create something sustainable in Ship that provided an outlet for card collectors, not try to have the biggest and baddest show around or make a bunch of money running shows, and we will continue that commitment. We want the perfect show for Ship, not just the perfect show.
5) running a card show is harder than people think, and many people will say they can do it better. We encourage them to help rather than criticize. Any help in making the show better is always appreciated!
