This weekend’s vendor highlight is SNF, aka Stacie’s Sassy Treasures and Rochelle Crochet. They have a variety of exactly what you’d think, treasures! I love, love, love all of Stacie’s towels. They’re soft, absorbent, and keep their designs use after use! And of course you can’t go wrong with one of a kind crochet headband by Kim to cover your ears this winter.
In Stacie’s words:
My Small Business Journey
I came across a website with cute items and decided to join. Then my best friend Kim and I started doing shows together. We came to the Red Rocker, and by the end of the day, we had started a little booth inside!
Within two years, we expanded twice, and I decided to venture out even further by starting to resell items from thrift shops and flea markets.
It’s been quite a journey, and I’m so grateful for every step along the way! ❤️
In Kim’s words:
I started crocheting when I was about 8 years old. We won’t say how many years ago that was! 😜 My grandmother taught me how to crochet, and those lessons became some of my most cherished memories with her. It’s a special connection that has stayed with me throughout the years.
I started making baby blankets for friends and family in my 20s, then expanded into scarves, headbands, ear warmers, and fingerless gloves at the request of a friend. Before long, crocheting became more than a hobby—it became something I truly love sharing with others.
I enjoy working with all kinds of yarn, including acrylic, cotton, wool, and alpaca. And, of course, I absolutely love yarn shopping! 🧶
I eventually started participating in different vendor shows, and thanks to Stacie’s search, we found the Red Rocker. It has become a wonderful place to share my creations.
One of my favorite pieces is my blue variegated cowl and matching ear warmer. Right now, I’m completely obsessed with making crocheted pumpkins—they make such fun and cozy centerpieces!
Crocheting brings together my love of creativity, beautiful yarn, and the special memories of where it all began with my grandmother.
