Many of you are already aware of this, but if you have not been in in the last few months or seen the website, here's your official announcement:
If you have heard that The Thought Lot is closing, you heard correctly, but the shop is currently operating MOSTLY AS NORMAL at this point in time. If you have something you want to sell, trade, have work done on, etc., for now, you still have time.
The building will need to be fully vacated by July 1st, so in response, the store will be transitioning to an online-only sales format after the current space is vacated. The current plan is to push that end date as close as possible.
A lot of the "post-vacancy logistics" are still being worked on. All contact information will remain the same, so local sales can still be facilitated and arranged case-by-case in favor of customer convenience. Repairs are still up in the air so again, if you need something done, now's the time.
Things to note:
~ Consignments will no longer be accepted, but purchases and trades are still on the table.

~ A lot of larger items are currently very negotiable to alleviate some of the transportation issues that are expected to arise in the vacancy process.
Especially important: Contact is being made with consignors over the course of the next month as any remaining items in the store will need to be retrieved. If you have not yet been contacted, hang tight as your items may be slated to be part of the Reverb memorial day sale (price is compensated, you won't see any less than you expected if sold).
There has been a lot of incorrect information floating around with people assuming the storefront has already been closed, but this is not yet the case. So if you have any questions regarding these changes, PLEASE SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE and get the information directly.
