We’re all about July 4!🇺🇸
Happy Friday friends! 🇺🇸✨ We get a lot of questions this time of year about celebrating the 4th of July in and around Shipshewana — so we put together a little local guide just for you!
🎆 WHERE ARE THE FIREWORKS?
Head about 10 minutes south to Topeka for the 53rd Annual Topeka 4th of July Celebration — a full day of fun from 7am to 11pm! Think fireworks, horse and buggy races, pancake breakfast, food trucks, kids activities, farmer’s market and more. It is an absolute classic and not to be missed!
🛍️ IS SHIPSHEWANA OPEN ON THE 4TH?
Yes! Downtown Shipshewana shops will be open on July 4th. Cornucopia will be open our regular hours Monday through Saturday 10am–4pm all week. Please note the Flea Market is only open on its regular days — Tuesday and Wednesday — no special holiday hours.
🍅 MORTON STREET FARMER’S MARKET
Shop fresh produce, handmade goods and local finds at 125 Morton Street on July 4th with food trucks and festive small town fun!
🎡 STILL NEED SOME RED WHITE AND BLUE?
We still have Independence Day décor available in store for inside and out — don’t wait too long! 🇺🇸🇨
🎭 PLAN AHEAD — AMERICA’S 250TH!
If you haven’t booked tickets yet for America’s 250 Years of Freedom: A Panorama of Story and Song at the Blue Gate Performing Arts Center — do it now! Earliest available dates are September 15th and this one is going to be incredible. 🇺🇸
Wishing everyone a safe, happy and blessed Independence Day! 🎆🤍
