Our thoughts and prayers go out to our friends, family, and neighbors who are suffering from this recent weather in parts of Indiana.

Shipshewana, Flea market and Auction is open today, Tuesday, August 18th and Wednesday, August 19th.

We have had a lot of people ask today if Shipshewana was affected by the recent storms and flooding in the State of Indiana. We are happy to report that we were NOT affected by the flooding and all Shipshewana Trading Place events will take place as scheduled this week!

For generations, families have made memories at Shipshewana Trading Place—walking the Flea Market, discovering hidden treasures, enjoying great food, and returning year after year to experience the traditions that make Shipshewana so special.

This Labor Day Market (Sept. 7-9, 2026), we’re inviting you to become part of that story.

As part of America’s 250th Anniversary celebration, Shipshewana Trading Place is creating a permanent community mural titled Patriot’s Flag, and we’d love for you to help bring it to life.

The finished 7-foot by 10-foot mural will become a permanent piece of public art displayed on the grounds of Shipshewana Trading Place, where visitors from around the country will enjoy it for years to come.
